Definition and Application Notes of Micro Switches
A snap-action micro switch is a pressure-actuated quick switch, also known as a sensitive switch. It is a master control device with a small travel range and instantaneous action. As a compact contact switch, it activates with a light touch and is commonly used in factories for short-circuit and overcurrent protection inside larger switches. When external mechanical force is applied to the operating button, it moves downward, stretching the spring via a pull hook.
        A micro switch is a rapid-action switch actuated by pressure, also known as a sensitive switch. It is a master control device with a small travel range and instantaneous action. The micro switch is a small contact switch that connects with a light touch. In factories, it is commonly used for short-circuit and overcurrent protection inside large switches.  When external mechanical force acts on the operating button, the button moves downward, stretching the spring via a pull hook. Once the spring is stretched to a certain length, the movable reed quickly moves downward, causing the contact at the right end of the movable reed to turn and contact the normally open contact below, thereby achieving circuit switching. If the external force is removed, the contact instantaneously switches back due to the restoring force of the spring. By adding rollers or pressure blocks, other structural types of micro switches can be derived to suit different applications. They are widely used in mice, household appliances, industrial machinery, motorcycles, and other places. Though small, these switches play an irreplaceable role.  
    The working principle of a micro switch is as follows: External mechanical force acts on the action reed through a transmission element (such as a push pin, button, lever, roller, etc.), accumulating energy to a critical point before instantaneous action occurs, causing the moving contact at the end of the action reed to quickly connect or disconnect with the fixed contact. When the force on the transmission element is removed, the action reed generates a reverse actuation force. Once the reverse stroke of the transmission element reaches the critical point of the reed, instantaneous reverse action is completed. Micro switches feature small contact gaps, short action travel, low actuation force, and rapid on-off switching. The action speed of the moving contact is independent of the action speed of the transmission element. The push-pin type is the basic form of the micro switch, from which variants such as short-stroke button type, long-stroke button type, extra-long-stroke button type, roller button type, reed roller type, lever roller type, short moving arm type, and long moving arm type can be derived. Micro switches are used in electronic devices and other equipment for automatic control and safety protection systems that require frequent circuit switching. Micro switches are classified into large, medium, and small sizes. Depending on needs, they can be waterproof (for use in liquid environments) or standard types. The switch connects two circuits, providing on-off control for electrical appliances and machinery. 
    The control of the micro switch is achieved through the throttle cable cam that regulates the throttle opening. The micro switch is installed in an appropriate position on the cable cam. When the throttle cable cam returns to its position, it presses against the micro switch arm, disconnecting the power supply to the relay electromagnetic coil, causing the relay to disconnect
