    Avi Heftz: To address the **financial crisis, the Israel Export and **Association will launch a project mainly to help Israeli domestic enterprises export. This work will first be initiated in the "BRIC countries" (China, India, Russia, and Brazil) and gradually expand to 11 countries with significant market potential, including Vietnam, South Korea, Pakistan, Mexico, and Turkey.

    Avi Heftz: Israel's electronics industry holds a leading position in the world and is one of the few countries that is very famous in the field of electronic information, especially in the design and production of semiconductor products. Many well-known high-tech companies are located along the northern coast of Israel, such as Haifa, which gathers the world's **multinational corporations like Microsoft and Google. The Haifa Science Park has approximately 8,000 companies and 150,000 scientific and technical personnel, closely connected with global consumer electronics, component, and semiconductor manufacturers. 
    Reporter: Most Israeli companies are engaged in chip design and development, and it is difficult to see Israeli companies' products in the terminal product field. Is this a characteristic of Israeli companies? 
    Avi Heftz: Israeli companies are mainly involved in the design of chips or components and rarely engage in the production of terminal products, so your judgment is correct. Because most of Israel's technology is applied inside products and rarely seen by consumers. 
    Israelis are primarily engaged in fundamental research and development, such as chip design in areas like audio and video and storage devices. The USB flash drive was invented by Israelis, and Intel's Centrino and Pentium 4 processors were also developed in Israel. Additionally, video processing chips in DVDs and touch screens were developed in Israel. 
    Reporter: China has globally renowned large companies like Hisense, Haier, Huawei, and ZTE, but in certain fields, Israeli companies have more technological advantages. How do you view the prospects of cooperation between Israeli and Chinese companies? 
    Avi Heftz: There are broad prospects for cooperation between Israeli and Chinese companies, and Chinese companies also have strong technological capabilities. In July, we will visit China to meet with some Chinese companies, such as Hisense and Haier, hoping to have good cooperation with them. In 1994, when I first attended the electronics exhibition in Hong Kong, China, I saw many high-tech consumer electronics products and many large Chinese electronics companies, which was a very fortunate thing. Today, the cooperation between Israeli and Chinese companies will create more opportunities and markets. 
    In Israel's electronics industry, the annual output value of semiconductor design alone reaches $2 billion, mainly exported to Japan, the United States, South Korea, and China. The product design and market planning of many global electronics companies are completed in Israel. China is one of the most potential markets, and Israel will strengthen cooperation with China in this field. We will especially recommend 40-50 Israeli companies to go to China, such as Modu, Lumus, and Explay.
