Hynix will invest in semiconductor post-processing plant.
With the intensification of the semiconductor market, more and more manufacturers set their eyes on this piece. According to South Korean media reports, Hynix Semiconductor said today that it will establish a semiconductor post-processing factory in Wuxi City, Jiangsu, China Province with Wuxi Industrial Development Group Co., Ltd..
In order to expand the liquidity of funds and improve the financial structure, Hynix sold the local factory in China and some domestic post-processing factories to the joint venture for US$ 300 million (about RMB 2.04 billion).
Hynix Semiconductor plans to expand the proportion of post-processing outsourcing, which currently accounts for about 30%, to 50%, and save more than 2 trillion won (about 10 billion yuan) in investment expenses in the next five years, focusing on the core department-basic processing and research and development.
Hynix Semiconductor, a production legal person, was established in China in 2005. After the post-processing factory was established in Wuxi, it has a complete set of production lines from basic processing to post-processing in China, so it is expected to improve its cost competitiveness by saving production and logistics costs.
Hynix Semiconductor promises to provide orders for post-processing products to the joint venture in the next five years, and plans to send special personnel to operate the equipment and carry out training to develop it into a special post-processing factory in order to improve the competitiveness of the joint venture.
The development of semiconductor processing plants will also greatly promote the development of the semiconductor market, and the technical content should also be improved.
